Macquarie University

Location

Macquarie University's main campus is in North Ryde, Sydney, 30 minutes drive (15 kilometres) north-west of Sydney Harbour and the central business district. Courses are also offered at Macquarie City Campus in Sydney’s city centre.

Macquarie University’s modern, well-equipped North Ryde campus is set on 126 hectares of peaceful parkland. The campus features eateries and recreational facilities, in addition to extensive library and computer facilities, a state-of-the-art sport and aquatic centre, an acclaimed sculpture park, several museums, two hotels and perhaps most sinificantly, the campus proudly has it's own Macquarie University Train Station.

The North Ryde campus is also across the road from the Macquarie Centre which has major retail stores, an ice-staking rink, supermarkets, a cinema complex and many cafés, restaurants and takeaway outlets.

There are many student accommodation options in the leafy suburb surrounding the University.
