My previous tenant (UQ student) sadly had to break lease to go back home overseas due to the progressive lock down in Australia and availability of online learning. If you are after a NON-share house, this is the ideal place to live in the next 3-12 months. The house was renovated in 2013 fully equipped with 2 bedrooms (air cond), 2 bathrooms, kitchen, lounge room and sunroom. The whole house will be yours with the spare room and spare bathroom closed off as my storage (not rented out). This was the same arrangement with the previous tenant.

LOCATION – Norman Street, Annerley:
Norman Street is conveniently located in Annerley Central surrounded by all required amenities less than 3 min walk (Woolworths, post office, 24 hrs pharmacy, doctors, gym) or Fairfield shopping centre (8 min walk). UQ is 2 km away with high-frequency bus easy walking distance . Our home is fully fenced on a 511 square meter of land that is well set back from neighbouring houses which provides secure, peaceful and quiet living not often found in other location in Annerley.

My brother (professional engineer full-time worker) lives in the downstairs self-contained granny flat. It has separate entrance so you will not see him. The only thing sharing with him will be the laundry at the downstairs entry (which he uses once a week). Depending on your situation, I can look into arranging another washing machine at the kitchen so you won't need to share anything with him at all. There are common sense house rule that applies to both of you which safeguard the comfort and peaceful living for you both (like after hours noise, ie music, no smoking, etc. ).

Rent is $220 per week (all amenities included). RTA tenancy agreement to be signed. Male preferred.
